although i have yet to pull a Vista Beta 2 ISO off of a torrent site, i can safely say I wont be moving to vista anytime soon. yes it will be all nice and fancy looking and be "better" than XP but me being the HORRIBLE nerd I am, I am going to stick with XP until 2012 when support for XP is dropped. by that time i will ahve passed my gamer phase and will have moved onto a 95% Linux/5% Windows XP enviroment.

vista will look pretty and such but if you know how to handle a computer/OS like I do it doesnt matter which OS you are on. any OS that has minimum specs so cranked as Vista is worthless. i have read tons of reviews and i guess most people will like it but im that cynical guy.

if anything wait about a full year after Vista is out before you snag it. by then alot of the garbage holes everyone finds will be patched(hopefully) and it should be improved slightly.

Have you seen what vista can do? its a 3D graphic environment designed to alleviate the problems inherent when viewing only in 2D. In other words it will allow you to rotate in 3D your desktop and will make clutter on the DT less of a prob. It is superior to XP in virtually every way, with one exception - its power hungry
