What's your plan for summer?

So far I've got our yearly summer vacation to the lake, we stay for a week in a little cottage right above the lake and have been going there as tradition for 8 years.

I think we might rent a cabin in the woods somewhere for another week. I'm doing some research to see where we want to go.

And of course the usual cook-outs, picnics, birthday parties, trips to the park, swimming, all of that.

I love summer.

I'll be starting summer classes on Monday...just two. One online and one in the classroom.

The day I'm out of my summer classes, my partner and I are going to Colorado for Rainbow Nationals, then up to Yellowstone for a week.

When we get back I have to crack down and find a new job, get my 100 hours of volunteer work started, and gear up for my last semester at the University.

Maybe fit in a festival or two..we'll see...

 

This summer the girls and I are going to Reno for a nine day volleybally tournament. (June)
Two of my kids are going to Hawaii with their dad for 10 days (must be nice, yes I am a little jealous ) My daughter britt, her friend Kelsey, my parents, my bro's family, and my sisters family are going camping in July.

Probably go to the beach on a couple weekends, and probably more camping.

 

well, i applied for a doorman/bouncher job, so we'll see how that goes. one of my friends works there as a doorman, so he's gonna talk me up. and then i'm gonna be working out.

if i don't get the job, more time for working out. and i'lll be making some trips up to vermont to party with some friends who are stuck up there working.

i might go back to the sports camp i worked at the previous 2 summers, i don't know though.

 

I have a couple of friends who are doormen - one guy is working his way up to being a personal security guard - apparently the wages are phenomenal

 

Well - as this is my 1000th post - I've just looked out of the window - it's 1.00am,the moon is full and its a really warm night.I got some batteries in a cheap cassette player and half a bottle of cider left so I think I'm gonna go up the hill,take a look at the stars and hopefully make it back to work tomorrow evening.The summer is on its way..

 

I'd probably stay in the house, and play on the PC or PS2 during the summer - I don't have much of a life really.

 

not at all - I sadly emulate BBC Micro text adventure games from the 80's when I can't be assed to do anything - I call it 'travelling without moving'.

we're coming into winter hols here... so far im going to a few 21sts and doing some industry placement at the forensics lab. for the rest of it ill prob be staying up north with my bf just going to the beach and relaxing. also there's my 21st bday coming up as well!

 

This summer I will be working at the firehouse and going camping/fishing with the family before I start paramedic school......................
