Jesus died for ever persons sins. And everyone who accepts his blood sacrifice will have there sins forgiven. Yet if you reject his sacrifice then there is nothing to protect you from death. First John 5:12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. Jesus Christ was more than a man, He was God. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, John 1,10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. Jesus said that many would worship Him with their lips but their hearts are far from Him. Jesus will know who is giving Him lip service, and those who really love Him. Thats why Jesus tells us that many would come before Him on the day of judgement and say, Lord, Lord did we not do many wonderful things in your name. And Jesus will tell them, depart from Me, I never knew you. I know their game will never end because the Bible tells us that much. Revelation 15:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night,
You need to accept the Word of the living God, and stop thinking your slanted logic is equal to Gods Word. If the Bible is not Gods Word who is speaking it? You, and a Billion others like you, all claiming to speak for God, while you counterdict each others words. THE BLIND WILL LEAD THE BLIND, AND THEY WILL BOTH FALL INTO THE PIT.
All you're saying is, "The Bible's right. You're wrong. End of story." Using the same strategy I could say, "I'm right. The Bible's wrong. End of story." This gets us absolutely nowhere, as my logic still remains sound. Are you saying, then, that the only way to get into Heaven is to be illogical? If so then I should remain logical, for that would be the illogical thing to do. Wait... I'm not saying the Bible isn't God's word, but I am saying that all words are God's word, and that God is every bit as confused as we are, and a great deal more and less so.
Well I've said nothing good about Jesus, really. If anyone has given him lip service it's you. And how much do you love him, since you're glad he was crucified?
Jesus said: "And this is eternal life, that they may know Theeè (the father) the only true God" (John 17:3)*Peace and love* Yours Sincerely,Cat Stevens
Jesus also said... "if you know me then you ALSO know the father" HOW CAN THAT BE IF THEY ARE NOT THE SAME? Checkmate...
Yes, through Jesus you get to the father. Jesus also states: "If you you me then you ALSO know the father" HOW CAN THAT BE IF THEY ARE NOT THE SAME?? Checkmate...
Campbell, when you make a claim about something (such as my reasoning), why don't you say something substantial, like explain why what I said is incorrect. Of course, I will ask you to explain what you say based upon your own experiences (the experiences that God has molded you with) instead of simply saying "the bible says so". You have to be specific about stuff too. I will explain to you why I believe as I do, how I know you are wrong or right, etc. God made both of us, but God has given us different abilities and different experiences. Maybe God has not made us compatible, but we should love eachother despite our God given differences. The books of the bible were written by many different men, who wrote of their experiences of God to the best of their understanding. I don't think so campbell. Well, campbell, I stand in the presence of the living God for eternity. God leads me, not another man.
You can be one with something without knowing the totality of it. For instance, I could show you just my face and you would know that my body exists, but you wouldn't know everything about my body just from seeing my face. Same thing: Jesus and God are one. To know that Jesus exists is to know that God exists, but that doesn't guarantee that Jesus knows all that God knows. If I see your face I see you, but what do I know of you from seeing your face? What do you know of God from seeing Jesus? Again: "Why hast thou forsaken me?" -- If he knows the mind of God he knows why he's being forsaken and that he's being forsaken. So why does he ask and why is he forsaken? If Jesus' mind was God's mind, that is the equivalent of me stabbing myself repeatedly and then shouting out, "Why? Why am I doing this to myself?!" lol I said that God is as confused as you and I, and even more and less so. If his prophecies are true it is because he is not as confused as you and I, hence "less so".
If you know Muhammad then you also know the father!!!!!!!!! Oh Muhammad is God then! Are ya serious!! How can we know the Father if no body will tell us about him!!! God sent Jesus to tell us about the father so that we all will know the father!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *Peace and love* Yours Sincerely,Cat Stevens
pop_terror Link:''I and my Father are one'' (John 10:30) Doesn't point to Jesus' divinity Jesus said:• No one knows, however, when that day or hour will come—neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son; only the Father knows.(Mark 13: 32) • My Father is greater than I (Jesus)(John 14: 28) • My Father, who gave them to me,is greater than all. (John 10: 29) • What I teach is not my own teaching, but it comes from God, who sent me. (John 7: 16) • I can of my own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father who has sent me. (John 5: 30)John 13:16: I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him.•John 8:28: So Jesus said, "When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am the one I claim to be and that I do nothing on my own but speak just what the Father has taught me. *Peace and love* Yours Sincerely,Cat Stevens
As usual CAT, when God states Let US make man in OUR image and in OUR likness. YOU MUST IGNORE THOSE STATEMENT OR TRY TO EXPLAIN IT AWAY. BECAUSE YOU DO NOT BELIEVE THE BIBLE.
campbell34 Does [Genesis 1:26] point to a triune GOD? (link)*Peace and love* Yours Sincerely,Cat Stevens
Genesis 1:26 Reveals that God exists as a multiple personality, thats why He speaks of Himself as US, and OUR.
