Actually, he was. He claimed that I did not want to believe the story: You are wrong about him not being wrong. You need to look at the context of the message before you judge it. In other words you need to see what point I disputed as incorrect before you judge my words. Well, right there you disagree with JD4U. He said I cannot look at the evidence because I don't want to believe in the story (which I thought was silly, I believe what God wants me to believe- even if it's incorrect). Unless someone built the pillars to convince you that the story is true. Anyway, I didn't see the sea parted. I don't doubt that God could do it. I've seen God do some cool stuff. I've also seen people claim that God has done something that God didn't do. So I tend to just believe in God and discount all the claims that people make about God. I don't need some book of half baked stories to be the foundation of my faith, I have God. Of course, I don't know if the stories are true or not, but neither do you. Your belief doesn't make them true. The only thing that makes them true is if God actually did what is described in the stories, and like I said, there are lots of stories about God, and a lot of them aren't true.
Where was He you ask? The same place He is now where he is letting you CHOOSE to reject Him. God created a perfect world. It was people that CHOSE the side of darkness and created a flawed world. Everyday, people continue to choose the dark side, rather then accept the light of the world.
Of course you don't believe in my God. Because you do not know Him. You can get to know Him by reading the Bible. But seem more comfortable bashing a book you know little about. However, if you ever want understand a little better about the book/religion you hate so much... here it is: www.biblegateway.com
Karakov you lean on your own understanding... your faith is based on nothing but your own experiences... Experiences can be decieving... The Bible is the true word of God... that is what my faith is based upon--FACTS. God's words are a sure foundation.
You refuse to show me anything... everytime I present facts... you become extremely narrow minded and simply say as a scapegoat: "I don't believe in your God." Well guess what, the fact that the relics of the Red Sea Crossing lay at the bottom of the Red Sea today no matter if you believe in my God or not. You can believe that airplanes do not exist and that can be YOUR reality... but the FACT is air planes do exist and so does the God of the Bible.
Oh, I am sorry... I wonder what the deal is with it... you can still read about it on the site... sorry bout that.
The field of the destruction was 3 miles by 11 miles.... what was found at the bottom of the sea was human remains, horse remains, chariot wheels, full chariots, spairs and much more. On top of that, the chariot wheels were dated back to the time of Moses. Interestingly enough, King Solomon even remembered the site with two huge rock pillars as a memorial.
it still seems a whole lot more plausible to me that it could be centuries of shipping disasters and drift with the current and whatnot but i guess thats just cuz ive never seen a sea parted before
so your sources arew call ins on a radio show in what...sweden? and you doubt anybody else that claims God spoke to them?
Doctor's aren't Creditable anymore if they are on a talk radio show in sweden? here are other websites: http://www.arkdiscovery.com/red_sea_crossing.htm http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=33168 God speaks to people all the time.... but when "God" tells the person to do things that are contrary to the Bible... that is when I start to doubt... because God would be a liar... and it is not the God of the Bible that is the author of lies.
