Worst sport ever invented

The "midget toss" was one of the worst human sport or inhuman sports ever.

 

I'm surprised no one has mentioned football. Wtf? Football (and I mean American football, not soccer) is by far the dumbest sport ever. It's a bunch of fat guys with no necks and no IQ crashing into each other and falling on each other while wearing tights. Pretty fruity if you ask me. And why the hell do they call it football anyway? You never even use your feet except for that one time when you kick it through the goal thingy.


Golf would have to be a close second. You don't even run; how boring is that? I don't get how anyone could watch it on TV either. Someone needs to explain that one to me.

Nascar would have been number one worst sport, but I don't consider driving around in a circle a sport. What I really HATE though is how it always makes national headlines when one of the cars crashes. Let's see: you're going around in a circle at 300 mph--What the hell do you EXPECT will happen when you crash?! Dumb rednecks.

 

Would you have to be shitting for the whole 100 yards or just part of it?

Nascar is the most boring. They just go around in circles. Everyone just watches for the crashes. They should build figure eight courses with an intersection - or a vertical loop.

The only sports really worth watching are hockey and lacrosse. Oh - and Australian rules football.

 

The worse type of sport, is ALL FEMALE SPORTS. There is nothing more useless in the world than female sporting events (except cheerleading). Sport is about competition, and there is not a girl on the planet who can compete with a man in the same event. All the money spent on female college sports is a fucking waste. Who wants to watch a professional female athlete? ---- No-fucking-body! Girl's basketball, boxing and soccer have all failed; the only reason chick beach volleyball is sort-of popular, is because the girlies wear tight little bikinis. Wet-T-Shirt competition is the only sport females should be allowed to participate in.

 

Oh, get over yourself. What is there to NOT get? As far as brains go, pool is a much more thoughful game then baseball, but I don't watch that shit either. Just because I can't stand to sit through a boring ass baseball game doesn't mean I don't "get it."

Besides, I think you're making it out to be a much "deeper" game than it actually is.

 

i love to watch most sports. just not on tv. the commentators annoy me.

Rivalries, yep. That's why college sports are so great. I always catch an IU-Purdue match-up. And I grew up on the Bulls-Pacers-Knicks-Heat rivalries of the mid 90s.

And expect to see Colts-Patriots to become one of the biggest rivalries in the NFL over the the next couple seasons.

 

Golf, baseball, football, volleyball, curling...they all are pretty stupid. I suppose it's how you view them and all but, I just don't like them (then again, most people probably think it's incredibly dumb to run around and around a track. And I wonder why I'm a distance runner in track...ah well.).

But what really tops the list is NASCAR, if that's even considered a sport. Especially now, with oil issues and all, think about how incredibly wasteful a car racing sport is!

If I actually considered hunting a sport, it would be on the top of my list for dumbest sports these days. It's not a sport, it's just slaughter, especially these days, when people don't need to hunt.

its obvious that you dont understand. You think its just someone throwing a ball and another person hitting it... its much more than that. but why should I delve into it any further when your mind is already set. Ill just confer with my fellow baseball fans on how great the game is.

 

you are mistaken my friend. I would say that women's tennis is much more interesting to watch than men's tennis.

 

okay, NASCAR is a pretty dumb sport, but to say its not really a sport is stretching it a bit. The vehicles in nascar have no power steering, so its not that easy to turn the steering wheel. You have to be in good shape to drive in NASCAR, and sitting for 3+ hours is not that great either. Still, I dont see why its as popular as it is. One of my friends is a huge NASCAR freak, and she tells me all the time that its the most watched sport around the world. I just dont see why it would be that popular. I think it has to do with the drama involved, and the car accidents.

 

Curling is by far the most STUPID sport! I mean... WTF?! Whoever invented it must have been either stoned or really stupid.

 

personally i reckon cricket kicks the ever loving spit out of baseball for skill, sportsmanship, tension and statistics, but then i'm english what what? oh and on curling... shit the scots came up with it... it's oddly non-violent for them...

 

hmmmm, cricket...cricket is good. played a little bit when i was in Dominica, but did not get much info on it, you know all the intricities of it. but its a cool sport. would like to get to know more about it...
