Here is my situation, recently my lover has a allergic reaction, nothing severe, but a couple of break-outs. She had talked to her doctor about the reaction, but the doctor cannot pinpoint the cause. The doctor can definitly guarantee that is is not a disease surfacing. She feels the biggest factor that might be contributing is latex, or the traces of spermicide in the condom lubricant. The reason why it could quite possibly be the condom is because we had sex an unusual amount last week, and the reaction occured shortly after last week. Anyway, I was thinking about using Lambskin condoms. I had never used these before, but are they just as effective as latex condoms for birth control? I have considered switching over to these for a time being to see if it stops her irritation. I would prefer not to cut our time to once or twice a week, like this week.
I'd use the pill before going to lambskin condoms what about polyurethane ones? Less creepy, MUCH better are preventing STD's and probably cheaper too spermicide seems to give me yeast infections, that may be what she's sensitive to instead of hte latex. Try latex without spermicide, or poly's with spermicide, see if she keeps having the reaction and if she does, switch and see if that fixes it.
Aha, definitely try nonspermicidal condoms. Lambskin condoms are not as effective in preventing pregnancy and should never be used as an STD protection. Definitely try latex condoms w/o spermicide and also, perhaps reduce the frequency of sex a little bit to see what happens. You can also try nonlubricated condoms.
Lambskin condoms aren't worth shit. Get polyurethane ones. Or just get that bitch on the pill and don't even bother with condoms. That's the way to go.
