I'm not basing that on any scripture, just reason. If everything, including man's will, is in God's control, there is only God's will. Anything man sees as having 'gone wrong'. I'm saying nothing ever goes wrong. Every event is absolutely necessary.
how did you know that everything, including man's will, is in God's control or you based this on what? according to what? (= *Peace and love* =)Yours Sincerely,Cat Stevens
I'm basing it on the definition of God: "a being conceived as the perfect, omnipotent, omniscient originator and ruler of the universe"...or even as 'first cause', as nothing can be entirely extricated from its original cause. To be omnipotent one has to possess all the power there is; if you don't you're not omnipotent. You could change the definition of God to "a being conceived as, at least, the really great, very powerful, very knowledgeable, co-creator and co-ruler of the universe"...but then I would hypothesize the God of the original definition, who would have the attributes of being equally as unprovable as the God of the second definition and more powerful.
!!!I am Saddam, I have the the power to put you in jail, but I won't do so, I will leave you this time, Does that mean I don't have the power to do so!!!! (= *Peace and love* =)Yours Sincerely,Cat Stevens
HI LS Do you mean this world, if so, you can make it a paradise or hell, it is up to ya =) (= *Peace and love* =)Yours Sincerely,Cat Stevens
They let you use the internet? Yes. If you don't put me in jail you can't put me in jail. And if you don't put me in jail it's because omnipotent God won't allow you to. What hell hole?
No. The example is about the ability I can but don't want to, OK, another e.g. I'm a father, My son wanna go to a party, I can let him go if I want to and vice versa!!! it is the same: I am Saddam, I have the the power to put you in jail, but I won't do so, I will leave you this time, Does that mean I don't have the power to do so!!!! (= *Peace and love* =)Yours Sincerely,Cat Stevens
Yes!!!! lol You don't have the power to do that which you don't do. You have the power to imagine alternate futures, but in physical reality only one choice is ever made; ie. You have no choice but to make whatever choice you make. If there is an omnipotent God your choice is necessarily determined by him, because he possesses absolute power!!!! Using your example: I am a father. I let my son go to a party. I couldn't possibly have stopped him from going to the party, because he is at the party: How could I have stopped him if he is there? It isn't in my power to stop any event that occurs; it only seems so because I can imagine the alternative, but the alternative never exists in physical reality, only in the imagination.
in front of me, two cups, cup of tea, and cup of coffee, I can choose what I want. why do ..forget it. No, he is*still* at home I can let him go or not. !!! My TV is on, I will turn it OFF(= *Peace and love* =)Yours Sincerely,Cat Stevens
That does nothing to contradict that you have no will separate from God's. Your point is that you possess power that you don't use, and therefore perhaps God does the same. I'm saying that's untrue: The only power you actually have is the power you use. For example, stand up and try to step forward with both feet (without hopping). You'll find that it's only possible to step forward with one foot, and only that foot. You do not have the power to step forward with the other foot. lol Then he couldn't have gone to the party! Then it can't possibly remain ON!
I can do it without hopping man! mmm crawl/creep/slide mmmm what shall I let him? =) I will turn it on right now =)hahaha forget it =)have a nice day man =)(= *Peace and love* =)Yours Sincerely,Cat Stevens
=) Yep =)hey! BTW: do you believe in God? I mean: do you think he is existed? (= *Peace and love* =)Yours Sincerely,Cat Stevens
No His blood is not on the hands of anyone who accepts Him. For the Bible stated long before Christ came to earth, that He would die for the sins of the world. His death happened long ago,and those who accept Him are those who imbrace the gift of God. Those who donot accept Him, are those who imbrace the rebellion, which was started by Satan. You will be damned, because his blood is the only thing which frees men from sin. If you are not covered by his blood, there will be no spiritual protection for you, as you draw close to the gates of Hell. The Demons will have a field day with you. And their game never ends. Don't talk your way out of heaven, by flawed logic.
If you don't accept Jesus then you agree with the world. By killing him the world thought they could stop his Kingdom. By accepting Him, you refute the world and their murder. For Jesus over came the world, and so do all people who accept Him.
If Jesus died for my sins how can anything I do be a sin? If I am damned then I am correct: Jesus was not my savior. What is more rebellious against God than worshipping a man as God and speaking of damnnation as though judgement were yours and not God's to give? As though anyone can possibly rebel against the Almighty... If you think that it's possible to rebel against the all-powerful God it is your own faith you should be concerned with, not mine. How do you know their game never ends unless you're playing? Or...by accepting him as your savior you accept the world which values one's own wellfare over another's. Of course those who would be damned are those who accept Christ; they think all they need to be holy is to say "I believe in you Jesus." "This people honour me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me." - J.C.
Why don't you turn to God instead of the bible? You "pharisees" are all alike, prefering scriptures to the Living God. Most who claim to accept him have rejected God. Liar. It is those who choose Jesus over God that "serve the rebellion". Wrong, the only thing that frees men from sin is education by God. Unfortunately, you have sought education from a book instead of God, and your book cannot free you from your sin- the stories that lie within are more dear to you than God. That's a total lie. God can save those God chooses to save, whether or not the person chooses Jesus over God due to sin. Only the sinful choose Jesus. The righteous choose God. You are a "demon", campbell, a fallen soul that preaches lies as truth.
