This was a little while ago. There were four of us sitting in a car in the carpark or a large park, having a bit of a session. This park has a bit of a reputation for stoners, and I have encountered cops there on numerous occasions. This particular time, we had just finished our smoke. I had the last cone and was sitting the back. I opened the door and emptied the billy, and turned around to shove it in its little home, which is in the boot between the backseat and the LPG tank. A great spot which you access by pulling down the arm rest in the backseat. Anyway as I turn around I noticed a cop car has literally just stopped right behind our car, blocking us in. I was think we are totally doomed...... A cop walks up to the drivers window and asks my mate what we were doing here. He says we were just leaving, which was true, and we were kicking the soccer ball around, which was also true. He just left out the good bit The cops says alright, and that was that. I couldnt believe it. I empty a bong right in front of 2 coppers and they dont notice..... All I can think is I emptied the bong at precisely the right moment where the cop was so close to us, as they were still in the car, he couldnt see the side of our car. It was lucky we had finished our session as none of us realised the cops until they were metres away from us.... We were lucky boys that night.....
Yea, you did get lucky. What would the penalty have been if you got caught? im not familiar with the law there.
As far as I know its relatively relaxed in Melbourne, but not as much as it is in Adelaide. You can get done here with 50 grams or less twice, and you will only get a $150 fine, and of coarse they would take your grass. The third time you go to court. Growing even one plant is illegal. But I have known people who have been caught with kilos or 3-4 plants and gotten away with possesion......
i think 50 grams in US is life w/o parole... slight sarcasm, cause we have really trumped up charges around here..
haha nice man. but d00d, for some reason when i saw your thought "... we are totally doomed....." i actually laughed out loud. just the thought of someone turning to the person beside them and saying that in your situation i find hilarious. i think i'm going to do that from now on. sorry, i just needed to say that, lol
