bye bye dreads:(

my parents are making me take out my dreads..they said if i dont i cant drive and worse....im sad because i want to keep them..now i havta cut my hair off and wait a year untill i go to college to do them again..they said if i cut them off they would get me a car which is not true....just trying to make me do it volunteerally..i am so sick of dealing with it i dont even care anymore..argh..peace and love

How do you do dreads? I have straight hair about 5-6 inches or so...well you can see my pic in my sig. I've been wanting dreads for awhile now, any help would be appreciated.

 

get them done proffesionally, my hair is abit longer than yours and i got dreads about 2 weeks ago. make sure you wax them every 2nd day after you get them for a while so they get nice and tight!

DONT USE WAX!!!!! its a misstake too many people make!!! do it naturally its sooo much more healthyer for both you and our dreads!! think long term here.. how long do you think it will take for that clump build up of wax to go mouldy inside your lovely dreads? trust me its not a good idea ive known many people who had to cut em out cos of it.

Bummer, Federal Parents.. I have three or four dreads that are natural, i didnt even make em! they just appeared, and now they're starting to dread together, its fun, i think its more, symbolic that way, when they form one by one, they have meaning.. Not jsut a damn sexy hairstyle
