Different psychedelic mushrooms grow in different climates. If you'll tell us where you're located, I could give you some hints as to what to search for and where. Of course, you're going to want to take your find to a mycologist, and if you don't have one of those you can trust, then you need to post some pictures on Shroomery.org. That's where all the masters 'board.

you probably won't find p. cubensis (purple ringers growing on cow shit) north of the mason-dixon line.

well, look at where other mushrooms grow. Thats pretty much what your looking for. Get this book called Psilocybin Mushrooms of the World. It is, hands down, the best identification guide you could ever buy.

Where the hell is the Mason-Dixon line, and why is everyone always saying that? I don't get it!

    I'm doing mucho better, thanks!

the mason-dixon line is a political line that divided the slave south from the free north. I think it runs along the ohio-kentucky border to the northern border of the virginas.

No new slave states were allowed north of that line.
