My baby moves around and kicks, and jabs, and squirms A LOT in the womb around 3am-2pm. I've never heard of a baby moving so much....there's maybe an hour of downtime collectively throughout the day. I was wondering if that's normal or if there may be something wrong with it?
I'm not complaining about baby moving....there were 2 days when it didn't move at all and scared me....so baby and I had a talk that it needs to move at least once or twice a day to let me know it's still alive and well. Just concerned there may be something wrong with it with as much moving as it's been doing? Probably just petty worry and sounds silly, but I'm new at this.

This is normal my son was constantly kicking me in the middle of the night throughtout the day. It is not silly you are a concerned mama to be.

Your baby will tend to kick more when you're not doing much...like resting or sleeping....which makes it a little hard to do, lol.
When you're moving around, the baby is being rocked to sleep.
Trust me, you're not being silly. Don't be concerened about asking anything....I had my share of "obvious" questions when I was pregnant, but I was always looking for reassurance that everything was ok. It's perfectly normal! :)
By the sounds of it, you have a very healthy and very happy baby in there! :D

Well, like every momma, every baby is different. My baby has two active periods during the day: early morning, and late evening.

She's going to town about 5 in the morning. But around noon, when I'm active, she's resting.

As long as you feel her move a few times a day, everything is fine. If you're concerned about her not moving, drink a glass of orange juice or eat some fruit and lie down. :)

Haha. Well, I'm glad it's nothing bad. I didn't know when you moved it was being rocked to sleep. Little thing gets rocked a lot as my boyfriend won't let me sit still for too long, he wants to make sure I'm plenty healthy when it comes down to having the baby. :D
    Thanks, mamas.

    I find out tomorrow! :D
I'm hoping for a boy. But, I'll take a girl too. Just as long as my baby is healthy it really doesn't matter.
If my baby is anything like either of yours, it's possible it could be a boy. Sometimes the kicks and whatnot are so strong it kinda hurts. It's always moving, too.

Some babies are really active. My first baby seemed to rarely sleep. She was a very active baby, who didn't sleep much. Most babies activity levels are similar to what they were like in the womb. One of the nice things about active babies is that you get a lot of give and take with them. They are usually very responsive, and they learn very quickly, as they spend a lot of time awake, learning.

My last baby was a quiet one, and it scared the hell out of me. After two really active babies, and one fairly active one, Sage took a lot of naps, and I would get scared when she didn't seem to move for hours. (A few times I actually ate some candy, just to wake her up.) She was an alert baby, but napped better than my other kids. Maybe she knew I had to have time for the others.

But, active babies are not only normal, they are good.

Yeah, I didn't notice any difference in activity level between boy or girls. My most active was a girl, and my quietest baby was a girl. The boy was in the middle.
