Just got back from rally.....

I just got back from a "weed festvil" at Loring Park in downtown minneoplolis which was a rally to legalize medical marijuana, and before hand there was a march. It was really fun, there was music, and dancing... and hula hooping.
As i was there i realized how idiotic it was that weed is illegel, I mean sierously what can a bunch of red-eyed, cottenmouthed, potheads do to anyone.
Making marijuana illigel is just another tool the government is using to make us less and less creteative.....And they wont even legalize it for people who need it for medical reasons!
It all pisses me off.

 

It might help if tokers would learn to spell so they can send presentable letters to congress.

I still don't understand why hard liquor is legal and marijuana is not. Just like the analogy my dad uses about "Well, you can't just smoke a little pot and be sober, whereas you can have a beer socially and be just fine." Many people can't have a shot of vodka and be just fine, either. That's their reasoning, though. Weed must be bad because it gets people high and at that point, they may do some stupid shit.

Sorry to say that alcohol causes people to do the most stupid shit I've ever seen.

Decriminalize.

Rivalution, I was at a pot rally yesterday (saturday) and it was awsome. There was everything you listed. Great food too. Tons of people were sitting down on blankets and shit in the park, just strangers, toking up together... it was great. As for your points on the issues at hand.. your just preaching to the choir.

As for writing letters to congress - wont do any good. They just throw them away, seriously they do. The biggest protest and point you can make to show marijuana is safe - is smoking it. Risks involved, yes, but why not show them we arent gonna stop smoking it no matter how hard they try to force their views on us.

an fact of the matter is he cant explain it,, cause they cant make any money off it..

the main reason that marijuana is illegal is money. if you think about it there are more marijuana related busts every year than any other drug so what does that mean...more money for the police to enforce the laws and more money for the government because of the heavy fines imposed on the toker that gets caught.

 

^^^Yeah, but it also costs taxpayers millions, even billions to get the "tokers" through court, into jail, feed them this and that when they're in jail, and then send them to rehab and such when they're released...

Did you know that more money is spent on each prisoner than is spent on public school students? Prisoners have cable TV...I don't even have fucking cable TV (anymore haha)
