any coffeeshops that play hip hop/jazz?

i'm going to dam again for a getaway break by myself...can't wait...did it once before and met so many great people, plus had free time just to relax and write a bit of poetry and obviously smoke some deeply though-provoking herbs....

anyone know about places to go, coffeeshops or otherwise, to hear hip hop or jazz?....i'll be there 30th may-1st june....a short trip like i said...gonna make the most though!!!

 

I'm not sure I know of any coffeeshops that are dedicated to
actual Hip-Hop as such, but there are some that have those
PC media player juke-boxes with various tunes on so it's all luck
of the draw what's on that minute you happen to be there or if
a DJ is spinning some tunes.
Maybe someone else knows of specific places, but on the whole
it all just depends if your in the right place at the right time.
Hotel Old Quarter usually have a traditional live Jazz band night
each week but you won't be able to smoke weed inside as far as I know.

 

thanks for that....i'm actually stayin' at Hotel Old Quarter and last time i was there caught the tail end of some house jazz band set...nice...just been to see Buck 65, a canadian rap artist, at Paradiso....an overall great musical night....plus i did bun weed in the hotel...in my room that is...peace supa

 

coffee shop bushdoctor plays some rap i think they have hiphop allso.
about jazz you can go to a jazz club and smoke your herb in there.

 

Yeh, I've stayed at the Old Quarter twice myself. Had no problems
smoking weed in my room as well.
Best to try and get a room at the back overlooking the small harbour
infront of central station as the front rooms are too noisy with tourist
traffic on Warmoesstraat day and night, unless you have no problems
with this.
