I'm kinda curious. How long should a tounge piercing heal before you can engage in oral sex? My friend and i agreed to go and get our tongues pierced before she comes back to town, and we dont know when would be alright time to do it. Thanks

It took mine a good 10 days to heal but after a month I removed it. I had this nasty habit to bite on it while sleeping and had terrible tooth ache because of it.

    :)

Yeah, those "s's" were rough at first...I can remember fussing at my kids to clean up their rooms and sounding like a complete tool. They got a good laugh out of mom. ;)

I got it done yesterday. I'm really not having that much of a problem speaking. There's a little hint of a lisp, but barely noticeable. It's definately weird having this tho, but i definately like it:)

mine took a week to heal lol....it was a good healing though...depends on the individual. If it doesnt feel too sensitive, then go for it :D

for sanitary sake, i'd say wait a few weeks. it is, after all, basically an open wound. in your mouth. infection, anyone??? but that, of course, is entirely up to you.

i had a bit of swelling with mine, but it never interfered with my speach. hell, it took my dad 4 months to even notice i had done it, and even then, he only noticed by accident! ha ha
