I only think that's possible by affecting your lifestyle...like what you eat, who you're around...I don't think you can change them without changing YOU.

    Yeah, lucid dreaming.
    Astral projection.
    it's spiritual,
    and it leads to Physicless.
    Energy bodies,
unbound by the laws of physics.
I can make one moment last a lifetime.

I used to be able to control my dreams very well. That ability has since faded, but I remember what I used to do. When I would go to sleep, I would repeat to myself "I'm dreaming." This would then be something on my mind when I go to sleep. Then sometimes I'd appear in my dream and the first thought would be "I'm dreaming." That's probably the hardest part, realizing your dreaming. After that you can look at your hands, and counting things helps too. This helps the dream to be more clear. Then you can do fun stuff like flying. Hope it helps

One way to start is by keeping a dream diary. Just write everything you remember each morning, and maybe even spend a little time thinking about it. You will start remembering more dreams and probably lucid dreams too.

Another good way to train your mind to have lucid dreams is by asking yourself at odd times during the day "Am I dreaming?" and really consider it. What happens is when you are actually in a dream, you might find yourself asking the same question and you can turn it into a lucid dream.

Wow. Thanks to all of you for proving me wrong—seriously, that isn't meant to be rude. I've never heard of any of that before, so I assumed...sorry!
