I guessed correctly for those. It was the 'fair maid'. Even w/the aka I Thought of 'well made'... ...as in lasting more than a week or three.
fair made as in fair trade, or equitable trade as for the question, sorry, can't help, but I'd like to know of some places too
oh I thought of another place, even though its ridiculously expensive yoga wear by lu lu lemon is made here in Canada....but gotta fork over a pretty penny to buy their clothes.
most clothing are made in china ..notwithstanding the union made labels in some of them ...most clothing ,the closest they will see the union is when they are packaged ............unless you make your own clothes there is no guarantee that any part of it wasn't made in a sweatshop
explain what fair trade clothes are and then i can tell you but if im thinking right im sure you can get stuff off some shops along queen
I know Queen street fairly well and I dont think there are shops that specifically sell sweat shop free clothes....I could be wrong, if you know any, please share
No, I want to pay fair prices. You can get sweat free clothes without paying 200 dollars for an outfit.
Roach-o-Rama in the Market sells Hemp Clothing, which I believe is Sweatshop free, but I could be wrong. You may also want to check out Carrot Common (a "mall" on the Danforth, west of Chester), I know they have a few clothing stores that at the very least promote eco-friendly fabrics. I have a feeling they're expensive though.
I know Carrot Common, I thought it was just for food? I'll have to check it out, even though its on the opposite side of the city for me.
They have 2 clothing stores I think, if not 2 at least 1 for sure. If hemp clothing is your thing, there are a couple places east of Queen and Broadview that sell hemp clothing. One Tribe Hemp Cafe - Some clothing, not a lot. Cladestine - Mostly clothing
