I agree totally I've lived in Germany, Ontario among other provinces, New Brunswick is definately the best and its the place I'm proud to call home. So whereabouts in NB do you live. I live in Central Blissville NB about 30 minutes from fredricton.
Was is Vancouver in '05 and am now living in Calgary, Oilberta. I've traveled all over Canada except the Maritimes and from what I hear I know I'm missing out. Someday.. oh yessss, someday.
i know where central blissville is ....i'm in st antoine ..about 30 klics north of moncton ...a few miles inland from the northumberland strait
I can just imagine! Big city living is fun... but after awhile everything looks the same. It's too artificial for my taste. When I was in Vancouver, Kitsilano was the place to be, I miss it- lots of diversity.
last time i checked there were no details set on dates and places ...would be nice to go to a rainbow .....i'll see as things progress this summer .........summer is the busy time for me ...........this weekend i'll be in halifax for 3 days with the air cadets ..........probably be the only time off i see ...last summer i took 3 days off to go to the united states for my uncle's funeral ........even met a fellow chatter while i was there ......nice trip but way too short ........................when you get details of the rainbow i'd like to hear from you ............peace .jacques
Gateway to the North, eh? I grew up there - on the corner of Norwood & Algonquin. Surprised to find that the Police Playground is still there - (staggered through Chippewa SS - but the vast majority of my artsy-ness happened a bit further south.) ah, outdoor hockey in 50 below zero weather, I kid you not! My father built your courthouse... (but I stayed outa trouble.) later-
^ HaHa Cool, but i'm pretty sure that it's never been anywhere near as cold as 50 below here (unless you include wind-chill factors). It's sure as hell plenty hot around here right now that's for sure!
I'm currently living in the Yukon, but was born in North Bay, ON and have lived all over the east in Canada (military brat for many years) - Armstrong, ON; Chatham, NB; Goose Bay, NL; Stephenville, NL; Mississauga, ON; Grand Bruit, NL; Enfield, NS; Waterloo, ON; Port Hawkesbury, NS; West Bay Road (yes, its a town), NS and now here in Whitehorse, YT. There are likely a few I left out...so where am I from? I simply say Newfoundland most of the time as I spent over 20 years in total there, and still own a home there that I visit sometimes.
seen most of cape breton ....from bay st laurence to port hawkesbury and most points in between ...nice place
Im from Sydney, Nova Scotia.....on the island of Cape Breton...it is beautiful but there is nothing to do
