how long have you been driving? i kind of had trouble when i first started driving, but now its all natural to me. i still slip up quite a bit, but its not as bad.
I completely agree-the problem is that where I live, there are no buses and I have to drive to get anywhere. I only walk for enjoyment, unfortunately. Hell, I have to drive almost 30 minutes to get to the friggin' grocery store.
I'm not super happy with driving either. I am alright at driving. I was in a minor accident the year after I got my license and I think that made me a bit more nervous about it. I just don't enjoy it really, it's boring. I HATE driving at night, but for some reason I do like driving at dusk and as the sun comes up.
Yeah--accidents have an uncanny way of changing things, don't they? I owned a motorbike once. True, in some places it might be necessary, but I still think it's a bad investment. It's a money pit and healthwise it doesn't really do us any favours. I really try to get by without it, the bus or the bike,or I take a hike!
Driving can cause high blood pressure, just by making you so frustrated... after moving to my small laid-back college town, I hope to never have to drive all the time again. Biking or walking doesn't cause half so much STRESS! ~Nova
I hate driving, it scares me so much. I've known how to drive since I was 15 (4 years now), but I didn't get my license until I turned 18 and I loved driving for awhile, but I just began to hate it. It scares me so much. I'm not a horrible driver (I was until my boyfriend retaught me how to drive), but I don't trust anyone else on the road. Especially after the wreck we had in March. I'm edgy all the time now when we're in the car. I wish everything was closer so I could just walk. And that I had money so I could repair my bike...
Move to france , here driving is a must. unless your lucky to live in some rural small town. but then small rual places can be boring as hell. you never win.
I DO live in a rural small town-the only problem is, there's nothing here-I have to drive half an hour one way to get to the friggin' grocery store!
ooh i love to drive..always have, probably always will. i seriously feel completely at home behind the wheel of my lovely little car, and driving on the highway keeps me sane....
I feel the same way as barefoot beautiful. I'd live in my too "lovely little car" and just travel the country if I could.
