especially in north america and europe they eat so much meat, always meat, meat, and not well cooked, disgusting!!!!!
steak tartar! i used to always cut off a corner of my steak before i threw it on the bbq and eat it raw
to each there own.. geeee maybe it stems from having to grown catch there own food for years n years,,,, much less trouble raisin an animal than raisin a garden,,,, old habits die hard,,,, n me,,, i'll have me a steak ,,, cooked just enough it no longer moos
when my mom goes to cook steak and stuff i always steal pieces of it before its cooked and she says its disgusting but i think its better than cooked meat(i only do that with beef and bacon)
some day I wanna own a peice of land where I can raise a cow or two a year for meat. I am sure I never will. SOmeday I will be out of the military and can be me, eat what I want without getting weighed and measured all the time. and on that day I am gonna eat the biggest bloodiest burger I can find.
i'm going to find myself a nice half a cow to fill up my freezer. (grass finished, local, uncertified organic, yumminess!) ps, dont they feed you hamburgers, cr?
I love steak of any kind whether it be a t-bone, ribeye, prime rib, porterhouse, filet, steak tartare, or strip steak.
With all-due respect, I don't see the point of this post. We all know that people in western society eat too much meat. I don't think eating meat is unhealthy, but I do think that eating too much is. I eat meat - I eat free-range, organic, locally raised chicken and turkey, and I eat wild-caught fish. I probably eat about 5 servings of meat a week, WAY less than the average American. I also care about where it comes from, how the animals are treated, etc. I do not believe it's wrong to kill animals for food, as long as the killing is done quickly, painlessly, and not in a cruel or unusual way, which is why I don't support factory farming. If someone wants to be a vegetarian or vegan, that's fine by me. That's their choice, and I respect it. What I don't respect on either side of any argument is self-righteousness, putting down others for their life choices, or questioning that person's integrity or morality. I've had vegetarians and vegans do all three of those things to me, and it's a huge turn-off. Also, many vegetarians consider their lifestyle to be the healthiest. I know tons of veggies who drink like fish and chainsmoke, yet they feel they're healthier than me because they don't eat meat - that's rich! :H Also, not everyone's body is equipped for vegetarianism.
Humans are omnivores. We are at the top of the food chain. i have a problem with the ways some big companies treat animals, but there is nothing wrong with eating meat.It is nature.
For those on a budget, kidney and liver are excellent buys; chicken livers are very reasonably priced.
