    gogol bordello is a sort of gypsy punk, that's how they called their last cd. it's cool i think, a sort of gypsy/pirate punk mix or something. does anyone know this band?

    I just got their album :) ITS GREAT
    Their comming to the Lowlands festival in holland (where I live) so I will be seeing them live in a copple of weeks :D

    BTW. The lowlands festival is the most COOOOOOOOL festival there is. I command you all to come!!!! It will change your lives and you will be gratefull to me :) www.lowlands.nl

    i wonder whether one of you understands russian or at least ukrainian. because gogol bordello sing in both languages, english and russian/ukrainian, sometimes combining them withing one sentence, just like "They always were afraid chto ya rodinu prodam". the music might be fascinating and genuine, but this are the lyrics, that make it something that never been seen before.

    actually my question is, whether somebody of you know any more bands of the new born gypsy punk movement.
    i can name one, its the balkan beat box. its an ingenious gypsy band with some very nice electronic beats. there is a band called kultur shock, but i didnt listen to them yet.
