ya ever stop to think that 1 of the reasons kerry changes his mind is because he actually takes the time to look at different issues and different bills from more than just 1 or 2 angles......and when wording in a bill meant to 1 thing has wording that would lead to legal infringement on something else, or when you step back to look at the trickle down effect of what a particular bill/law would have on other aspects of society besides what the neo-cons publicly say the bill is for???....i mean hell i like that in a leader...if you can look back at everything that the bill in particular would effect wether immediate or 5 yrs down the road.....that is an attribute i look for.....i sure as hell don't want someone running MY country who reacts on emotion and first thought ideas w/o looking at all the other effects the particular law/bill in question will have........so i don't particularly blame kerry for changing his mind, cuz when somethings sold to you for 1 particular problem, but in fact it tackles not only the problem at hand, but legal rights that we have associated with the problem at hand, and i realized it...i would change my mind too......but all you hear is, he voted against the act laci and connor act....when in fact his vote helped protect reproductive rights.....shit like that....fuckin neo conservative propoganda....makes me sick

    Have you seen the Movie?

I know you've seen F9/11, so I would think you would take the time to be open minded enough about this one too.

Here's the movie in a nutshell...

1991 - Bush was wrong to go war with Iraq.

1995 - We need to Bomb Iraq right now.

1998 - We need to send ground troops into Iraq to kill Saddam, take over the country, and get those WMD's.

1999 - We need to attack Iraq right now before he hands off WMD's to kill Americans!

2001 - See I told you so! Saddam helped Al-Queda attack us, and we MUST get him now!

2002 - I totally support the decision to invade Iraq, hell, we should have done it years ago.

2003 - Uhhh, I used to support the war, but since the voters want an anti-war Democratic nominee, i'm anti-war now.

2004 - I never supported the war. Let's pull out the troops!

...And that's John Kerry in a nutshell.

ok..have you saw this video..watch it really carefully it's on George Bush's site..it has Images of Hitler..also if you look i posted a Link to John Kerry's plan, that he has and you can download it, it details what he is going to do if he is president in detail! He also states why he agreed on some issues, then later changed his mind. I personally wouldn't want someone who jumps to do something such as GO TO WAR without thinking it through, I think when people think things through and don't rush into things, that means they are smart and yes people have a right to change their mind after thinking things through.that doesn't make the a bad person, that makes them a smart individual..anyway for this video click this link http://www.georgewbush.com/VideoAndAudio/ and click on the video labeled "Kerrys Coalition of the Wild-Eyed" I am sorry but what it says..makes Bush look like an IDIOT, and it's on his site..Go Figure..

    In relpy to topic:

Yes, John Kerry is a weak candidate. The democrats aren't going to try and do anything about it though, as it doesn't matter. Any vote for Kerry will not be for Kerry, but rather against Bush. Al Sharpton would have just as good of a chance of being president in Kerry's spot as Kerry does. My personal feeling on the man is that he really isn't as liberal as they make him out to be, his statements before the race show what he "really" thinks. However, the fact that he would contradict himself as blatantly as he does is what really keeps me from pulling for him. I'm no Bush lover, but at the same time I wouldn't feel safe with this guy in charge during a major crisis.

I guess it all comes down to which side's spin machine is better, as sad as that is.
