Hi, I'm interested in growing outdoors (not at my house, at a location nearby) and I'm wondering if some people could ask me a few questions. Firstly, is it best to use the seeds you get out of bags for your first grow, or too order some off the internet? And secondly, how big should I make the holes, and how many seeds to throw into each hole? Thanks for your time.
i m new to this but from the time i ve spent looking online for good info i ve sure found it and i ve had many questions answered on hip forums right now i m almost 2 weeks into flowering and i ve enjoyed everyday of it but your questions, if you were to ask me first grow i would use the seeds outa your bag for now and read a lot the more you read about the plant its stages and what the plants need for good growth the better your plants will turn out i wouldnt spend the money on seeds when you could get some outa you bag cause with you being new (as i am) i would hate to hear of anyone buying lets say some white widow seeds getting them going just to fry them later on cause you made a mistake use the seeds you have or can get your hands on ok the holes i believe it was one of ranger dangers posts on here he said dig a hole about 3 ft deep and either use a mixture on the org. soil and some nice potting soil or just use all potting soil in the hole you just dug i WOULD NOT just drop some seeds in you should germeate them in some wet t/p or paper towels i took a cup of noodles cup and cut the bottom off just using the bottom to hold some extra water but just use a wet paper towel put however many seeds you want to grow in there maybe one or two extra incase some arnt any good leave them in the paper towel keeping it moist not soaking wet intill it sprouts and its about an inch or two long and when you get that far i would use your finger and poke it into the soil you'll be using just put one in each hole and use your judgment on how far apart your going to grow them cause they like their space to grow i would water the soil a little bit and just wait soon you should have like a little sprout sticking out of the ground first leaves are kind of spoon shaped its the second set that will start looking like the pot leaves the spoon shaped ones will fall off and die so dont be alarmed well i could go on but i think i covered your Q's i d love to know if i was any help so let me know have fun and let me know how it works out i like to think of mine as "my babys" or "kids" cause its nice to watch something grow cause you took care of it be safe if you have anyother questions i d love to try and answer them for you
And does anyone know whether seeds are legal in Australia? and if not how would I get them off the shops on the net?
Must disagree buy some seeds. You can buy 10 good seeds for $15. You know what your getting. Plus you can make sure its a good strain suitable to grow outdoors. You will be glad of investing $15 when you have grown the best weed in town.

i am not sure that growing your own in shaired acomidation is a very good idea. perhaps you could get someone to help hide your stash for you :-d
Durban Poison or sensi seeds outdoor mix would suit your needs. Scotland has a short growing season hence early finishing strains are required.
Thanks for that do you know whaere i can get them from and is there any soil, pestisides and food you can reccomend? is it better to get feminised vertions of thos types of seeds? can i grow them out n my garden? can you advise me on hydroponics to get and is there one type of light that i can get that i can use for the entire prosses as i want to be able to dismantle it and stash anything away if any unwanted visitors come? sorry this message is so long but i have a lot to learn. do you have msn?

But any commercial soil from the garden centre will do. If growing indoors you could use a 400W high Pressure Sodium light with a growlux bulb for the whole grow. are the hydroponics reasonable? i wouldn't want to pay over the odds for waht i was getting. i have been ripped off by deallers in the past when i have bot puff so you see i am tired of supporting them. my husband says that its very difficult to grow otherwise evry one would be growing there own stash hahaha i guess he's just wanting to alert me to all the difficulties that there are. HE has sevral different medical conditions so i think marijuana would bennifit him as well as me. We both have sight problums so he wouldn't be able to see wich ones are male and which ones aren't.

Growing marijuana is not difficult as long as you read up and stick to the basics. How will you deal with the problems of identifying males e.t.c will you recruit some help. I had a friend who went to the blind school in Hereford when he bought weed he could tell you the exact weight of it just by holding it. You certainly could not have short changed him.
