You could just hit the road with a back pack; maybe check out some of the many cooperative communities; there are alot of cool communities around, depends on where you think you'd like to be.

    I'm so lost.

How can I take a step up when I can't find the stairs?
I'll look around the forum for communities, thank you.

This doesn't make any sense to me.

I was born, and now I can't just be.
Thanks mom and dad for raising me the best you knew how to,
but I'm fucking worthless out there in the woods.
I don't know how to survive, it's fucking pathetic.

That notion alone is enough to either make me pick up a book,
    or explode.

O I'm not looking for Easy,
If anything I'm looking for physical,
    and mental work toward my
    Happy survival.
I want to be in nature,
    with people who understand.
I don't want to be in heavily-altered-city nature with
    people so blasphemed with illusions
    they can't even stop driving!

I lived in San Jose and know how you feel man. We rat-raced it to scrape by-- though we didn't have a car most of the time. SJ has a fair bus system. Supposedly there are occasional drum circles at the Cupertino park, search for it online and you may find a rainbow or two nearby. We used to also hop the train to go to the park in San Fran every week and bliss on the beat. Hope you bust out in time to gather somewhere this summer bro.

You could take a look at http://groups.google.com/group/Texas-Rainbow-chat-group a threa called 'looking for organic gardeners' has posts about a community that is forming in TX

you could also do a web search Earthhaven is a cool community in NC and there's a hip community in MO called Dancing Rabbit

there are a lot of communities; ya just gotta research a bit to find the place that's right for you
