what if our universe is on the tip of someone's fingernail?? you never know........

you ever see seamonkeys?? their universe to them is the space that is comprised in the aquarium you put them in......

what if our universe is just a molecule of some physical being??

That is exactly what i think at times... We are all probably part of some experiment conducted by some being that is thousands of times smarter than humans... We are probably their guinea pigs... awesome...

An electron in, say, a cell in your thumb, has no precise location. it is a locus of energy, but it has no limits. That is to say, it's possible location could be anywhere in the universe, though it is extremely improbable that it will be anywhere outside a very small area in that atom in that cell. Still, the quantum possibility for it to be in Saturn's rings or Andromeda's center is there. So in that sense, your body is infinite. Also, we are all directly connected to every other particle in the universe, in a manner known as "nonlocality."

And Pressed Rat made a very good point. As a good quote I read states, "We do not see things as they are. We see things as WE are" -Anais Nin. That works physically as well as mentally, actually..

And, "normal" matter (stars, nebulae, planets, galaxies) makes up only about 4% of the universe. The rest is all dark matter and dark energy. I wonder which actually is more "important"...

Iguess I consider this planet of primary importance because I live here and it is the only place where life has been proven to exist. Things that happen in space may one day have a large impact on my life, but right now only things that happen on earth do.

what makes you think dark energy or dark matter exist only in space? It's probably all around us. Who knows what kind of effect it might have on things.
