I have lost most of the weight I want to lose but I still have about 10 pounds of stubborn fat that won't go away and is all in my stomach and triceps. Also, I was sick and on bedrest for a couple of months this year, which caused me to lose all of my muscle tone. I've been running a couple miles every other day and lifting weights twice a week but it's not working ): the muscles are there but under this disgusting layer of fat that just kinda hangs there...it's really gross at least when I had a lot of extra weight I had muscle tone ):
What can I do to tone up as quickly as possible? I am willing to do anything. I just need advice. I had a personal traininer when I first started out because i was so weak from being sick but now that I am 'healthy' and in my mom's opinion look great she won't pay for him anymore ): I am lost now that I am on my own. What can I do. I want to take care of this problem before July.

There is no overnight quick fix so I ask that you be patient. The best thing you can do is eat a proper diet and exercise. Walking is good to start with, maybe add in a little biking or jogging. I'm a fan of basic calastenics, push ups, sit ups, lunges, etc. Just start a basic schedual and try to stick with it and in time you will see results.

I would reccommend going on a low carb diet short term (a month or so) and continuing if not stepping up your routine. After your time eating low carb, slowly introduce carbs back into your diet one or two a week to see how they effect your body. Alot of your so called fat could be inflamation and perma-bloating from eating gluten or foods you're somewhat allergic to. other possible allergens include milk products, eggs...

I love sugar and I eat a lot of fruits and veggies and whole grains but no protein besides yogurt and soy powder. I am at the point where i will try anything I just want my teenage body back ): so I will try it.

    CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!

I work and am not a morning person so the morning exercise thing won't work. I drink water all day. It's totally my eating habits, I eat crap lots of refined carbs and sugars very little protein. WHat are some yummy food ideas that you like? I do not eat meat.

I love grape powerade I drink like a bottle a day. I was horribley sick last winter and couldn't keep food down for months (how I lost most of the weight) so I drank powerade and gatorade and pedialyte all the time and now it's just a habit but it totally is empty calories. I'll try to cut that out.
The snack ideas were fab thank you!!! and I do eat fish.
I exercise to feel good and mentally healthy but I like my junk food so looking good is the only motivation I have for that as I feel pretty damn good when I'm eating frozen yogurt with sprinkles and coconut :)
