Bleeding from her nose whole week. Parents didn't want to go to the vet. I called the SPCA, guy came, gave us until friday to decide whetever vet or sleep (shes sick btw). I called the vet, diagnostic would cost 52$...bloodtest 50$-500$, xray 72$-301$. I told them I would pay but they still want her euthanized instead. They say that the vet thing won't do shit and that my brother is about to developped asthma because of the dog (he has small dog allergies). Everyone is blaming me, when all I wanted is the best for my dog. I didn't know that the SPCA could do that either. I could go in details but I have more important things to do now.
Yeah..I took a 2 hour walk outside earlier. Now I have to write notes and arguments for tomorows writting exam...it counts for 25% of the year for the overall french grade, and 50% of the year in the writting section.
aww K.K ...... I had been wondering what happened to the dog after you posted before about it. I'm sorry to hear she's still bleeding. and really sorry that your parents are still against the dog.... and that they are discouraging you from doing what you can to help her..... Yeah, the SPCA no doubt considers that neglect, if they knew how long the dog was in that condition and nobody did anything about it. The SPCA has legal power to confiscate animals too... theyre not like regular animal shelters. They can also impose fines for neglect. If thats not enough to shake up your parents, I dont know what will. But I know thats a difficult situation you are in .... and you could be putting out alot of money for vet, and it may not even help the dog. Sometimes euthanasia isnt such a bad thing. Its better than having the animal suffer... another option could be to give her up, to a German Shepherd Rescue. Your dog is a beautiful shepherd. Sometimes the resuce agencies will take the dog and provide it with medical treatment (if her condition is fixable) ... and then, they will find someone who is looking for a shepherd, and give it a lasting home. I know thats not what you want to do ... but its a possible alternative to having her put to sleep. At least you would know she is being treated, and then will be able to live out the rest of her days ... *hugs* no matter what happens, even if she is euthanized... ... Im sure she knows that you loved her, and sometimes thats the best we can do for our pets. Love them till the end.
She's sick enough, can't really give her away, she's blind from one eye. The bleeding, after I posted it stopped for a week, and last week or more, it started again, not all the time but she had to be kept in the garage. Today she didn't bleed, but who knows. And yeah, it's vet, or sleep or court. My dog had to go someday, I'm pretty sure that the bleeding would come back. I hate feeling guilty. What makes me mad is that it's so god damn quick, friday! ccmon...

k, now my parents decided to fight the case instead... and I convinced my mom that when this will be over, we will go for atleast a basic checkup at the vet.
