so today at lunch i sat down my my boyfreind and his freind like normal, and we started to talk about this weekend, thus leading to drugs, and then somehow it got into 'grace, youre addicted to oxycontin' and coming from him, a kid who started pot when he was 12, i was kind of pissed off. he said i do it all the time and i should lay off for a while. and then i got started on him about his weed. hes always always always stoned. i just cant believe he had the nerve to say that when hes done every drug i know of. i know hes trying to 'protect' me or whatever, but its not like i get on him for smoking???
oxycontin is quite addictive and can be overdosed on. Weed has one claimed overdose out of hundreds of years of use, and I think that's probably bullshit as well. Your boyfriend, regardless of the drugs he's done, has a point. You really should watch out for oxycontin. Just a friendly suggestion from another guy that's done every drug you can imagine
maybe you can't OD on pot, but make no mistake it can destroy your life. I have anixety and depression now from pot. Its best to just ditch drugs all together, they don't do anyhting to make your life better - no shit!
For one, oxycontin is alot different than "weed." Oxycontin is alot more dangerous, and honestly, it just sounds like your friend cares about you. Be happy about that.
Doesn't that rather go against all the things you were just saying? I thought you said you were mad and blah blah blah. I keep forgetting I'm talking to a kid here
Look hun, you're preaching to the choir as far as the negative effects of drugs. I've done more drugs than I really care to admit, and enough of each to last me a lifetime. All I'm saying is oxycontin will fuck your life up a lot worse, and a lot quicker than weed. Opiates are nothing to fuck with and synthetic opiates are no different. I've never seen anybody on weed half dead, blacked out, tongue hanging out of their mouth, and unable to move. Nor have I seen anybody wind up in the ER on IV's getting stuck with Narcan(I think that's what it is. Medication to pull people out of a high instantly).
