they are missing a whole lot of words!
I was spell checking something manualy (on a computer without a spell checker) and some words werent coming up, so I checked another site and they would. So I think dictionary.com doesnt even have a total list of the enligsh language. they didnt even have the word Gullible. Go, try it, see for yourself, they dont have it! And no! I didnt make a typo!

    gullible

adj 1: naive and easily deceived or tricked; "at that early age she had been gullible and in love" [syn: fleeceable, green] 2: easily tricked because of being too trusting; "gullible tourists taken in by the shell game"

*sigh* maybe my name should be in that description.

the best dictionary is this one:

    www.google.com

    just type

define:[the word you want to define]

    no spaces

and it searches all the dictionary sites or sites that contain technical definitions and displays them

that way you get a lot of definitions for some words and in particular, certain definitions which are more relevant to different contexts.

i realize this thread is a joke, but spelling is something i do have a problem with. i found a solution for spell checking my forum posts without manually looking up each word, or copy/pasting to Ms-Word or the like.
i use ieSpell. it is an Internet Explorer spell checker.

LOL, yeah.... I know this thread was a pretty big joke.

I actualy thought of the old "gullible isnt in the dictionary" joke after a friend of mine showed me an error on the dictionary.com website. He found a word that had the wrong definition. And another site didnt have the word, but Google's "define:" thing did have it.
I dont even know if its a real word, the word is "credulous". I never heard of it. oh well

i haven't noticed any pop ups or spy ware since downloading. but if ya wanna know for yourself you can just scan the program after downloading.

its the Free version of a pretty useful product, though the free version is all ya need.
