I was just on cnn.com reading the marijuana phychotic article and my mom was like yeah see I told you. I tried to explain to her that it was talking about children and she was like blah blah blah I'm a duch. I hate straigth edges. You don't actually know the truth unless you try it out for yourself.

lol I don't like it when people throw that phrase around. It's not always true. I mean, I knew moms that use to give their kids overdoses of Nyquil (DXM intoxication) to put them to sleep. Mother really knows best, though.

Yeah, I'm only fifteen, but the simplest fact is you probably wouldn't have cared if I hadn't mentioned that I believe my mother is wrong; you probably wouldn't have checked the age, either.

I agree with bugs man. You ickle kids gotta wise up and listen to your mums until you're old enough to make up your own minds - but you're close. When you move out and are working and paying your own way then you can say how to run your own lives you know?

I once came back to my mums place after a night on ecstasy and she had a fucking psychiatrist waiting for me when I woke up. I was 20 years old and hadn't been living with her since I was 17. Don't go back to your mum's after you've moved out and started making your own mistakes - which hopefully you will be learning from (e wasn't a mistake but regular use is - it is safer than alcohol in terms of deaths caused but definately causes depression in everyone who uses it because of its effects on seratonin).

 

Believe it or not, I have to agree with the bug man on this. When I was a kid, I so thought i was right in whatever i did..and now, when i look back, I am surprised my parents didnt beat my ass sooner..

 

I'm not saying all mom's are like June Clever, but I'm willing to bet most of them are atleast a little more knowledgable and experienced than their offspring. Just a hunch.
