Jem and the Holograms!! She was awesome! I still remember the theme song: Jem, Jem is excitment ohh Jem Jem is adventure...Glamour and glitter, fashion and fame....Ohhh Jem is outrageous truly outrageous... I used to love that show!
LOL I used to have the dolls...one I had was purple with purple glittery hair and another one had hot pink hair. I also had the Jem lunchbox...I bet it's up in my dad's attic as we speak! LOL
haha I being a man of course NEVER watched this!!!! But uno sometimes, my sister would be watching it......and i'd be in the living room at the same time so uno, i'd look at the tv and it would be on so....lol. I think the theme song went something like......... "Me and my friends are jem girls, JEM! Jem is my name, truley excitement fasion and fame once ur a Jem girl ur never the same! c'mon c'mon and be a jem girl. JEM jem is my name! ......LOL but yea like i said i never watched it!
relative to my age that was only yesterday, or seems like. was a lot of other things a whole lot more interesting along about the same time, like shirt tails and pirates of dark water, at least i think they were along about the same time. i remember i liked the music but i liked josie better then jem cause at least they had tails. even the ponies were cooler i thought. maybe just may way of looking at things i guess. glamour and glitter just seem kind of tedius and pointless to me and always have. now succinctness and naturalistic design, that's more my aesthetic. like ferrocement freeforms, that sort of thing, spacey and organic at the same time. wish i lived in a world where more people shared it.
