Its a book by an Indian philosiper, but it is not totally traditional Indian philosiphy. I like it, best philosiphy book I have ever read, I think it should be taught in schools. Anyone else read it?
Hey i read it not too long ago, and i liked it alot. It taught me to think for myself and question things in my life. I highly recommend it also.
Yeah I have been reading it for months since I have to stop and think after every page, the guy has 115 books out, since he just goes around speaking and people write down what he says Here is a website about the guy www.kfa.org
Yeah, here's a site where most all of his works can be read for free. http://tuljo.store20.com/krishnamurti/ I like how his message is to question authority and examine things on your own. Enjoy
I actually read Jiddu Krishnamurti for the first time in school. I found his writings to be amazing and very easy for me to relate to. I like his ideology that through education we can free our minds from fear and come to experiece the truth. I feel that this is an important lesson for adults to focus on since as one continues their life they usually build up a fear of losing everything they have ever accomplished and end up turning their back on the truth in order to live a more stress free life. People need to learn to accept love and truth into their lives, not run from it.
I haven't read any of his books yet, but one of them is definitely next on my list (i'm reading like four books already right now). I'm aware of his ideas and as far as I know I'm down with most of them. Thanks for that website with all his texts! That's awesome.
