i am currently researching hemp medical, industiral, and recreational and i am have a massive amount trouble of time finding WHEN or withwhat legislation hemp growth and possesion became illegal.

Its by Jack Herrer (sp?)

You could maybe find it in the liberary, but if not, buy it, it has a TON of helpful information and alot of stuff all about marijuana and hemp.
Its totaly worth every penny.

actally a major cause of the illegalization of hemp came about when it was threatining tobacco farms and production so the big tobacco fellers done up and eliminated the cmpetition

 

you might find stuff easier if you word you searches a little better.. try "marijuana prohibition"

 

Im not positive on this but i think it came right after the prohibition of alcohol ended, people started smoking during prohibition as an alternative to alcohol but when the prohibition ended the alcohol distributers and govt didnt like the competition that marijuana produced so they made it illegal.

 

i heard it was because of the hemp trade threatenin the cotton trade.... fuck wen will we all get it right?

Why didn't the tobacco companies just produce hemp and tobacco? A new product and source of money.

 

watch the documentary grass. its packed full of legislative satire and government propaganda. though woody(narrator) spouts out some propaganda of his own. its very informative in terms of legislation, taxes, prohibition and propaganda.
