I really hate this stupid gene i have.. i have cold sores on my lips... comes from my parents... so like every few months i have some nasty cold sore on my lips and its very unconfortable. and the cream i have to put on it gives me headaches ...

yeah. they don't always come back though. i got one when i was 16 and i haven't seen it since.

just don't do them while you have a cold sore and you probably won't pass it on to other folks

I get them, hmm, about one every four or five years. Very rarely, thank goodness.
