alrighty tomorrow Trey and I are flying out to my dad's house to spend 3 weeks with him. I need help trying to figure out the least amount of things to take with me. I have one large suitcase and a carry on. I have to check the car seat which is why my luggage is limited. Anyhow besides clothes what all do I NEED to take and what can I live without? As for food and formula I will just take enough for 2 days then buy more when I get there. But I'm at a loss for how to go about this. Any help would be mucho apreciado.

i would definately just pack food for a couple of days (what you need to physically get there, plus any delays); if you do disposable diapers, i'd just buy those (and wipes) there too.

Random stuff to remember: recieving blankets for diaper changes (just a couple, you can always wash them), maybe a warmer blanket for the plane, paci (even if he doesn't normally take one, i've heard it can help with the pressure change), cheerios (if he eats them, it's an easy snack to ration as needed), a book for mom (with any luck he'll sleep most of the time, and you might get bored, goddess willing!); a couple of small toys, antibacterial wipes for dropped toys, etc.

As far as clothes go, i would just pack all kinds of coordinating onesies and pants; you can change one item at a time as needed, and bibs to protect the clothes
