Yellow Submarine

Once upon a time...or maybe twice, there was an unearthly paradise called Pepperland - a place where happiness and music reigned supreme.

what you guys think of it?

 

Love it! My kids absolutely adore it too (my oldest is 6 years old and my twins are almost 3 years old) and they request it quite often!

I love the colors, the music, and just the sheer "out there" factor. Good stuff!

I love the live action part at the end. It's so wacky

 

I grew up on the Yellow Submarine. When I was little I would watch it constantly. My very favorite cartoon by far.

 

HAHA. I loved that part.

Great movie. The Chief Blue Meanie creeps me out thought. Evil acid monster he is.

 

This movie is spellbinding. I like Jeremy and I like the Sea of HOles. I also enjoy potato chips.

yeah that movie's a total trip

i was watchin "A Hard Days Night" one day and my dad came into my room and was like "you should watch Yellow Submarine, but you have to be stoned first"

 

I'd like to get my hands on "Yellow Submarine" and "Magical Mystery Tour" on DVD.

 

i found "Magical Mystery Tour" at Wal-mart, but i didn't buy it

I got it on DVD I love this movie.

I always try to make a point to watch 'Yellow Submarine' if it's ever in tv. schedules.
It's a very good film for kids.I wish that they'd used the real Beatles voices.
The 'Blue Meanies' are vicious scum.Bombing the innocent civilians of Pepperland with giant apples!.

 

those stupid apples....ruining everyone's good time. i wonder what would happen if someone ate one

meh, don't know...lame if you ask me. maybe it was innovative back then but all this trippy sixties aesthetic looks incredibly dated.
