Just got back from seeing American Dreamz. Hilarious cultural satire. Dennis Quaid and Willem Dafoe are brilliant as the men in charge of the country. Hugh Grant is a perfect jackass and Omer (the character) steals the show...

I reccommened anyone out for a good laugh see this one...

I thought it was a 3 or 3 1/2 star film. As a satire, it scores some great points, but it's kind of uneven and gets lost in its meanderings more than once. Plus, some of the jokes are too easy and obvious to be funny. However, Willem Dafoe should get a Best Supporting nomination for his hilarious portrayal of Dick Cheney, and the last 20 minutes of the film are worth waiting through the first hour and a half. I almost threw up I laughed so hard.

This movie is a piece of trash. Dennis Quaid should be ashamed of himself.

This may shock a lot of liberals, but President Bush is in fact NOT at all like he is portrayed in this abomination!

What is this country coming to?

I do have to ask before I run out and see it, Mandy Moore's in it, do we have to suffer through what seems like ages of her screeching...ahem, "music." In my opinion, her constant bursting into song was what killed Saved for me...
