I'm sure most folk know that I love to chirp most other posters. Usually it is harmless but sometimes I do get carried away. But I would be willing to severely cut back on my chirping if there was one thread or hell a subforum where everyone just ripped everyone else to pieces as long as everybody conducted themself in a semi-proper manner in all other threads. in the psych forum the other day I saw a post from Jared (MJP for those who remember the fuckin twat). Jesus did I want to just rip into him but I had nothing good to go on so I didn't. This beer is for you jared you fuckin cocksmoke.

People are going to bitch. It is human nature to point flaws in others. By providing this "most primitive manifestation of lack of self control" it is going to improve the forums. First, a lot of the bitching will take place in other places instead of pointless threads. Second, it has been my personal experience that a good rip session (not bong mind you) improves community. If we all each other to rag on one another people will notice their similarities among other forumers. There is no reason not to feed this primitive urge. Most of us feed our other primitive urges (food, sex, etc) on a daily basis.
of course a whole bunch of people are going to bitch when you say that we should not. but ya, i agree not to bitch
I hate bitchin and insulting, unless I'm attacked first, but even then you'd have to try really hard to offend me. I would hardly ever been in the bitchin subforum, but it would be nice not havin' to worry about it everywhere else.
bitching is most definitely not a basic human urge bitching is a manifestatino of either insecurity, arrogance, or assiveness (i made that word up, it means to have the qualities of an asshole) i feel no need to bitch at anyone, i cant remember the last time i insulted someone just for the relief of my 'primitive urge' and all it does is briefly satisfy the bitcher by elevating their ego while degrading the bitchee (another one i made up, means the receiver of bitching) i really dont care anymore, i know people are gonna bitch, but i've said all i have to be said, and i'm not against a bitching forum, i'm not gonna post in it, but for all of you who have these 'primitive urges', knock yourselves out
no i feel the urge to bitch at u ^^ all the time in person, but its normaly cause u say something completly idiotic... like "primitive manifestation of lack of self control" or something of that sorts but the only time i get pissy online is when someone is acting like an ass... which has really plauged the mj forum for quite some time
