veterans are prisoners i seen it with my eyes!

yea i was workin at a veteran hosipital i was supposed to measure the size of the windows on the 5th floors for hurricane shutter and to do so i had to go in the rooms of veterans. horrific site it was they were tied down to there beds some were blind folded all the cups were chained to the tables.

there has to be some other way.

dunno... maybe look into the health care system where you live and find out if this is normal practice, maybe contact authorities?

 

It is normal to use restraints if the patient is mental. However, That seems a bit inhumane to me.

 

What are these G.I.s ' real problem?
If it is physical then some thing is wrong, but if it's mental then, though a bit crual, this practice may be to save their life,

When I cane back from nam I was treated in the same manner. Those dreams are HELL ON EARTH.

In a dream you can wake up, but in the case of shell shock there is no waking up.

All you can do for them is pray, hold their hands, and when needed a shoulder to cry on.

Their stories aren't for the wear, or young. Only thoes who've been there will truly understand.

I agree, contact the people i charge , but if it is mental sumimtes it's th eonly way. Like my grnadfather hasnam flashbacks. And extremes sumtimes are nesscery.
