Scout Rendezvous for the 2006 Colorado Gathering

April 29th - 30th ( May 1st ) First Scout Rendezvous
All the scouts and anyone interested in being involved in site
selection show up at Scout Rendezvous and go scouting. We need more
people involved in scouting. If you're interested, you'll need to be
able to fund yourself including Weeks of driving around in vehicle,
buying gas, fixing cars, eating, etc. We need to get more people
involved in scouting. New able Scouts welcome!!


Directions:


From the West:
Take I-70 to the Wolcott exit. Go north on CR 131 to State Bridge. Go
north west on CR 11 (Trough Rd) towards the town of Radium. Soon after
CR 11 hits CR 401, turn eastward on CR 1. After about 2.1 miles, turn
left onto a decent jeep trail. Follow this around as it makes a big
180 degree turn, and follow it downhill to the cliff above the natural
hot springs (99 degrees)


From the East:
Take I-70 to CR 9 in Silverthorn/Dillion. Go north on CR 9 towards
Kremmling. About a 1 1/2 miles south of Kremmling turh west on CR
1. Follow this to the jeep trail and the spring.

This site is on BLM land. As the area is pretty dry, so bring firewood
and water for the brief time we'll be there.

Whoaa that's really close to where I live. I'm in Silverthorne every weekend. I'd love to help but I'm still in school. Sorry! It would have been so convenient too!
