Roots...

    Im just wondering about my roots, or the hair around the roots... Is this part of the hair sappouse to dread? With my hair i have dreads locking but the hair around the roots are perfectly strait... Is this normal?

    yes..it is normal to have undreaded (straight) hair at the roots for an inch (or two?).

    yeah, perfectly normal. just needs time to grow and dread naturally. besides...imagine how uncomfortable it would be to have tight dreadies straight to the roots...like a fucking tight ponytail pullin on your scalp. i imagine it would suck. mine have about 1-2 inches of normal hair at the roots and mine have been growin for 4 years. i think everybody has it.

    You can try rubbing them at the roots, helps them lock up a bit.
