need experienced help

    3 of my friends and i are going to california at the beggining of june and i really want to have some mecaline for us to trip, the thing is, i dont know what dosage i should do for all of us and if i should make a tea or not. i can get a 12 inch san pedro for cheap....im about 175 lbs and my friends are in the 120-150 range...would it be practical to make a tea or just cut it up and eat it strait...what dosage should i use to get a heavy trip? i really wanna try this but money is limitied so i want to do it right the first time. any help is appreciated.

    Its really hard to say what would be a good dosage for you to do because the strenght of the san pedro (the amount of mescaline in it) can vary alot from one cactus to another depending on your source or just on the particular plant itself. But for what its worth I have found that a piece from where I usually get mine around 12"-16" long is enough for a strong trip for one person. So if you were to go on that 4 or 5 of the 12" pieces you can get should be about the right amount to split between the four of yous.

    I really wouldn't bother making the tea it takes a long time to prepare it properly, and if you don't do it right you can just waste your san pedro. You should just cut it up and eat it straight. You only eat the green fleshy bit not the core or the skin, but make sure you get all the green fleshy stuff you can, even the stuff thats stuck to the core and the inside if the skin. It really deos taste disgusting so you might want to try to disguise the taste with something. I've heard people tell of lots of ways of doing this from putting it on a pizza or covering it in honey to mixing it in a bowl with chocalate ice cream or drenching it in chili sauce none of which ever sounded too appealing to me.
    The best way I have found to get it down is the same thing I do with my magic mushrooms. Dice it up into little bits like you would with an oinion, then in small hand fulls just throw it into your mouth and rinse it down straight away with beer, lager or cider.(do this over a period of about 45 mins or an hour) You'll barely taste a thing except for a bitter after taste, cider is the best cause the sweetness helps to counter the bitterness. I'm not sure if cider means the same in America as it deos over here so just to let ya know I mean alcoholic apple cider. Magners or Bulmers if you have that over there. Some people can feel a little bit sick when taking san pedro so some motion-sickness tablets of something like that might be handy to have just in case Dramamine or something similar.

    ^^ excellent advice.

    personally Mac, I'd chop up the cactus into slices, soak the stuff in some ethanol (some sort of liquor), and let it sit until you leave. Mescaline is soluble in alcohol.
