Anyone have any suggestions of what is the best way of posting a bit of weed through the mail to Ireland? I have heard of things like using old filtered coffee etc., any tried and tested ways?? Cheers, Shaz
although I'll probably get slated for advising you to do this, it worked out alright for me. posting it is the safest way of getting weed back, but the suspense is unbearable waiting to see if it makes it ( most of it wont ) unless you have some sort of a record at home or have been known to the gardaí for drugs buy yourself one of those large shampoo bottle in the pound shop (black is best), dunno why they're still called pound shops. double bag your weed and shove it into the full bottle. the thickness of the shampoo will disguide both smell and shape of your weed from the machines at the airport. try not to be too wasted comin through customs though. that was my mistake. I had a small bit left that i crunched up on my grinder and just left it all in my washbag, the rest i through in the shampoo bottle. We were home and dry, made it as far as the arrivals hall (you know the doors you walk out at the end where all the families are waiting, due to my stonedness my eyes were firmly fixed on the floor, a guy called the 3 of us back and checked our bags, all together they found bout 5-6 gms of bud/hash, 1 space cake and a porno (apparently you need a licence for these). they took it off us, slap on the wrists and didnt even ask our names. so long as you arent carrying an ounce or 2 or class a's they wont do feck all. they were more pissed about the porno than anything else. they didnt even check the bags thoroughly, once they found the grinder in my bag they stopped looking. the grey area crystals i had stuffed in the shampoo bottle went down a treat when i got home to calm the nerves. I'm pretty sure the only reason they stopped us is because of the look on my face walkin through. customs and guards scare the shit out of me even when i have nothing. not sure why!
I'm not sure about mailing, but my friend and I flew from Amsterdam to Dublin each with about 5 grams of grey haze and sweettooth under our nuts and we encountered no problems at all. Even after we got our baggage at the Dublin airport, my friend was stopped by a security guard with a dog and she asked if she could run the dog around him and his stuff, and the dog didn't even bark or anything. I think most of those "security checks" are just for show anyway, to make people feel more at ease.
Dunno about Ireland but porno is not illegal to bring back from holland unless it's sick animal or underage crap. Get rid of the dvd boxes and the covers and just bring back the discs, some are plain discs anyway so you cant tell whats on them. Flatten the dvd covers and post it home in a4 letter. Seems to me you got swindeled as porno is not illegal anymore like it used to be. don't know anything about Ireland's law though. I usually buy about 20 or 30 dvd's to bring home stashed in a tall CD-R tower blank disc thing for pc's. Fuck bringing home the dope, selling on the DVD's makes me a huge profit, market stall holders buy them or friends who have friends and all that. piece of piss, pays for my entire air fare. if your gonna bring back dope the double condom trick is best and stuff in down and under you know where, tie it real tight wash it under a tap and no dog will smell it.
