Two or more guys come inside a girl at the same time, and she gets pregnant. Will only one of them be the father, or will it be a hybrid of both men and the woman? I got this in my head when Steven Colbert said that Solidad O'Brien looked like the product of a freaky 8-way. Wondering if that's possible, or if only one would be the father.
It would only be one of them for one baby. 1 sperm + 1 egg = 1 baby I think if 2 eggs where released maybe it could work, thats a fucked question though
The offspring with be the result of the first man's sperm to reach the woman's egg, a race really. Although something interesting is that a woman can have fraternal twins and the twins can have two separate fathers, as the woman releases two seperate eggs during a fraternal twin conception and one may be "hit" during one encounter and the other egg, on another encounter that occurs shortly there after. So if the woman is working her way around the block in a short span of time so-to-speak and just happens to have a cycle in which she drops more than one egg, she might end up with two different babies and two different daddies.
Are you sure your a scientist throwing around terms like "random chance"? Or a "Creation" scientist? *snicker*
I believe I actually read somewhere that it IS possible in the case of fraternal twins, but the chances are one in a million. My ex-boyfriend's sisters were actually twins that were concieved two weeks apart from each other. Now if that's not weird, I don't know what is, but you can tell by looking at them which one was "baked" longer. The older twin is about five inches taller than the other and the younger one is really small and skinny. But there's no doubt they've both got the same dad, lol. But if that's possible, then surely it's possible to carry two babies from different fathers. As far as one child having two fathers, that's pretty much impossible because it's just one sperm that fertilizes one egg.
