Is there a forum on here specifically dedicated to the fine art of being a beach bum? If not, maybe I need to finally contribute some $$ to the effort and start my own. It's something that's intrigued me almost in an academic way since I moved from PA to Pensacola 2 years ago. I've met people of a sort I'd never known before. There's something that the beach does to you that you don't get in the mountains of Colorado or the deserts of the Southwest or whatever. The sea is a constant presence and it affects everything you do. And it's good. It's the beach life, man, and it kicks ass. I recommend it. Peace, msi. :sunglasse
Most 'beach bums' who are surfers are often labeled hippies. And for the most part this pisses us off. Having long hair and smoking pot does not make a person a hippy. Not anything against hippies as a whole, it's just a different thing all together.
