I'd have to say NIN are my favorite non-rock rock band of all time. I don't know how to describe their music. Is it called synth? I now have 2 of their albums: Pretty Hate Machine, and Downword Spiral. My favorite songs are "Herresy", "March of the pigs", and a few cuts off Pretty Hate Machine. Does anyone else dig them? And by the way did they do that new song that played on the radio all the time, that sorta almost sounds hippiesh, its like acoustic, and he's like "I'm just a bad ass- muthfucka" or something like that. The music doesn't sound like NIN, but the voice sounds like Trent. Is that them?
Did they not write 'hurt' that Johnny Cash sang.Also - I remember working out that piano part from Natural Born Killers - 'You'll make this all go away' or something along those lines - yeah I like em - just don't know much
I love NIN. My fave song is either Closer or Only. They are touring with Bauhaus this summer, so hopefully, I'll get to see Trent live!
They came around here last year on my birthday! I was super-psyched, but the tickets were two-hundred bucks! As a poor uni student, I just couldn't afford such a price. But, I hear this next tour's tickets are only like sixty or something... I can afford that.

I couldnt agree w/ u more. NIN is one of my all time favorite bands, trent reznor is truely gifted. To answer your first question the music is called industrial metal. I dont know what song your talkin about tho.
