What has Bush done while in office that makes him deserving of a second term?

Don't get me wrong, I dislike both Kerry and Bush, which is why I am voting for neither of them.

I second that, i don't see how anyone would think Kerry is scary and Bush isn't.

I actually dislike people for supporting Bush now, can't help it.

There is no way Kerry is as scary as Bush. Anyone who says that just sounds foolish. If Kerry or Gore were president the last 4 yrs. there's no way we would have gone to war in Iraq. The rich wouldn't have gotten huge tax cuts that widened the gap between the rich and the poor.
They are both supported by corporations, well that doesn't mean their actions in office aren't different. Money is necessary to compete in elections.

I agree that it's hard when close family sees things differently too.

I wish we didn't have just 2 choices, but for now...GO Kerry!

Kerry and Bush were both members of Skull & Bones.

I know some people will pass this off as being simply conspiracy theory nonsense, but if you were to actually to take the time and read into it, you might feel differently.

It's kind of... odd that two members of the same secret, elitist society are running against each other for the top seat in US politics.

To me, Bush and Kerry are nearly identical - save for some social issues (ie: abortion, gay marriage, etc.) - except John Kerry is more intelligent, and a better talker, as wooden as he seems at times.

It's kind of funny that the two times Tim Russert questioned Kerry about his affiliation with Skull & Bones, he brushed it off as being a big joke.

I am too cynical, and that's a good thing. No bullshit gets past me.

I know what you mean and I respect your position of course. I just hate Republicans so much right now. The Dem's convention was not very impressive either though, they are too far to the middle, too pussy to actually take a stand on certain issues. In trying to appeal to the majority I think they are actually alienating a lot of would-be supporters.
It is so discouraging, it's so hard to swim against the tide. I get depressed and feel hopeless. It's so much easier to side with the Democrats. I guess I'm a "flip-flopper" :), sometimes I hate the Democrats/Kerry, sometimes I think they're great.
