My Boyfriend's birthday is coming up next month, and I would really love to give him something he loves.... He is a very true, and loving fan of the grateful dead, the dead, ratdog, etc.
I trust you all that could give me some ideas, or places I could go to find some. He has lots of GD music archives ,and always adds to his collection!!! Any Ideas would be fab!!!

    Thanks:)

Any GD DVD would be a nice gift, i reccommend The GD Movie or Downhill From Here. If he already has those I'm sure you could still find another nice one. I love getting new DVDs :)

    Or Grateful Dawg (Garcia /Grisman)
We've enjoyed the Vault DVDs and we catch GD Movie on PBS a lot (good moneymaker for them, we have two stations and they trade seeasons with it)
even a Relix subscription or An Honest Tune (good folks at both)
Books? Lots of good books about the band and the scene.

Yes! Relix would be a great Idea - I love it, and it also comes with a free cd in each issue! Grateful Dawg was a fun video too if your into bluegrass.
