I used to feel that I had no right to shut people out on here, but for the past year Ive used the ignore function more and more, if I constently find a poster rude or offensive, why should I have to have that in my life?
I wish real life came with an ignore just think how much crap you could wipe out, it wouldn't mean a person would stop exsisting, it would just mean they would stop existing for you

I really wouldn't need an ignore button in my life. I avoid people I do not care for. Simple as that. Sure I may have to see them, but I make it very clear to them if I do not care to hear what they have to say. If they persist to bother me, then I make things hard for them. They eventually get the point. It's that simple.

Yea...I use to feel that when someone is so insensitive. At times I feel abnormal coz I use to be bothered alot on things I should not be....but can't help it....if ppl could be more nicer....

It's not about being right for all of us. Some of us just can't live with ourselves if we hold back and do not speak our mind.

i wish real life had an ignore button too.

one for being robbed of wierdness be the adament aggressiveness of gratuitous conventionality.

raising hell and making a pain in the ass of oneself isn't my idea of freedom.
thinking my own thoughts, dreaming my own dreams and believing my own beliefs is.

not having to worry about a lot of things is too.

i think if your assertive you can get your point across and still be 'nice' about it, without resorting to being abusive or rude

Rude is very subjective to say the least. Some people find farting amongst company to be rude, while others argue it's a natural occurance. People can think what they want of me. I actually rather prefer when the masses deem me to be rude or even a jerk, what have you. That way I know my friends are real friends who accept the worst in me as well as the best in me. If somebody can't handle what I have to say, they shouldn't be talking to me.

I don't jave an ignore button. I have a volume control that filters out all the crap I don't want to hear or be a part of!

well yeah no one gets to speak to me on my phone, before they go through the answer phone.
I'm talking about real people, where you press a button, they crackle a bit then disappear, but only from your reality

I wish real life had a way to hit people without legal action. Like if both people agree to a fight then they could duke it out with no consequence.

Your logic is faulty my friend. If one gets hit so hard they die, there is no way they're putting the other person in a coma. Same applies vice versa. Lets think a bit before we speak, shall we?

    That's how they train terrorists.^

If there actaully were a "life ignore button" I wouldnt hear 50% of the people I see on a day to day basis. They wouldnt hear me for sure.
