Anyone else stopping after 4/20?

Hey all -

I know I've said this all before, but I am finally going to be quitting smoking for quite awhile until I can put my head on straight for once. I just got super stoned all day yesterday, and I have been a everyday stoner for the past few months, and then increasing to multiple times in a day, and I have felt myself change into a person I did not want to become. I know I'll be getting the people that will say not to quit and just smoke in moderation, well, I tried that, and it really doesn't work for me. I want a complete sober head change. Many things have made me decide that stopping altogether is the best solution, mainly my health, and of course, a girl. I was just wondering if anyone else is quitting today...

I might in a week for a couple weeks cuz I want to get a job, but I might not. It depends on which job I plan on getting and if they test. But for now, no.

I'm with you man, I desparately need a break. I think that I've put too much emphasis on smoking and let it be something that I do all the time, rather than just the times that I really want to, which would still be often but nowhere near as frequently as I have been.

If you, me, or anyone else that ever takes a break decides that the weed will be good for them again eventually, we'll know it and mary jane will be waiting. In the meantime, kudos to you for being aware of your life and what's going on in it, and for making a change. Just because you're stopping weed doesn't mean it's bad or theres anything wrong with smoking, it's just not for you at this point in your life. I feel about the same way right now.

 

i stopped a month before 420, smoked on 420, and am stopping again

 

yup I'm gonna stop for about a month or 2, and after thats over I'll keep it cut back to about once every 2 or 3 weeks.

 

I took a break from march 18 to april 20 and am really high right now

 

i took a break between like 12pm... and 4pm today... now im on another break.. cant continuously smoke.. that would be just too much

I really have no reason to stop. If I did it would be not worrying, about getting busted or going to jail. That would be my reason if I did decided to quit

ive been smoking for years & never tried to quit or even had the desire to. so no.

 

Yup, 4/20 was the last time Ill be high till summer again, I need to get my grades up for 4th qtr this year so I can pass..fuck school. But hey summer is right around the corner and I know Mary-Jane will be waiting for meh

 

I gotta work on tests and such so I'm thinking about becoming a weekend toker again.

 

I'm mainly a weekend toker, so there's no reason for me to take a break.
