The people that I know who eat meat usually put it in their mouths, chew and swallow. As far as I know, that's how it is done.
I tried being a vegetarian for almost 3 years. Apparently great health risks are involved when you live in Texas...Good grief. Had a barbecue yesterday and was very thankful that I am no longer veggie. I would have starved.
meh, it's not a big deal. My mom would always make me help out in the kitchen by cutting up the chicken for stirfries since she hated handling raw poultry, I've just gotten used to it I made a turkey on easter and I giggled at how wiggly it skin was. A bit macabre, but it was genuinely amusing at the time how do people actually judge others for decisions in their own lives that don't affect other people?
Well, first they decide that it is their business... Then they act like they have never seen a hamburger before...
I eat meat, but i sort of agree with the poster. Its very fucked up to think of assembly lines of death, feeding baby male chickens to the females etc. I tried being veg, but my metabloism is so fast that I often felt weak. Its not something to be taken for granted.
i just think its nasty to see the video clips of the way people kill them just so we can eat them... they go way to far with it and some people actually look like they enjoy it
Its kind of interesting that we can disasociate ourselves, we can see cows in the field and think "how cute, cows" or " I love dogs" but then we think its ok that certain species are killed and eaten...even the same species we just petted. Like I said, I do eat it, but I try to limit how much, and I do think about what it is
I know how my meat is killed, I know the farmer who raises the meat I eat and the hunters who shot the meat I eat. I do not buy store bought, tastes nasty to me. Farm open range beef, piggies, chickens for this guy and deer and turkey and once in awhile I get some alder smoked salmon from a guy a know in Camano Island. MEAT YUMMMMY!
Let's break this sentence down, shall we? How do people actually eat it. Hopefully cooked with some garlic chopped onions and other seasonings. What animal died for it? Broccoli is alive until you pull it out the ground. Fish is alive until you pull it out the water. I'm not a fan of eating live things but I would imagine the animal would prefer not to be here when I tied on my bib.
I hate chickens. That's why I have no problem eating them. Those birds are just plain and simple assholes. Trust me, I know, my neighbors raised them. They were always attacking small children and babies...evil friggin birds...
